Blue Green

blue green

I’m not talkin’ aqua, I’m not talkin’ teal
Mixing blue and green, it’s lacking some appeal
From springtime myrtle to the deepest sea
The muddy color’s not right for me

Forget capris and celadon
Brunswick, mint and amazon
Even jewel toned lovely jade
Though crystal bright, is not my shade

Call me a purest, call me a nut
I take my blue and green ‘straight up’

  1. I love your directness. Who would have thought there were so many variations of blue and green. But I’ve got to say, I am partial to teal and turquoise…sort of Caribbean blue.
