She travels through the shadows like fog. Silent, liquid, precise steps; each perfectly placed in life’s dance for survival. Her movements are a flowing harmony to the melody of the forest life around her. She is the essence of grace.
We’re losing them, ya’ know. The tigers – they’re going the way of the dodo bird. Today, there are only 4600 to 7700 tigers left in the world; some say that there are NONE left in the wild.* Of the eight original subspecies of tigers, three have become extinct in the last 60 years. Of the remaining tigers, many are in wildlife reserves, some are in zoos, and, believe it or not, there are people out there breeding them as pets (they’re wild animals, guys…that’s just not a good idea…).
