Hoping Something Grows

A beautiful garden catches your eye…

…A fascinating blog catches your eye.

You think to yourself, I can do that…

…You think to yourself, I can do that…

…so, you decided what sort of garden you want; flowers, herb, succulents…

…so, you decided what sort of blog you want; photos, poems, philosophy…

…and you design your garden’s layout: lots of interesting plants, lots of diverging paths…

…and you design your blog’s layout: lots of interesting ideas, lots of diverging paths…

…and you choose your seeds…

…and you choose your ideas…

…and plant them in what you hope is fertile soil…

…and plant them in what you hope is fertile soil…

…giving them the attention you think they need to flourish…

…giving them the attention you think they need to flourish…

…don’t want to be too generous with the water; you don’t want it to be tacky…

…don’t want to be too generous with your use of language; you don’t want it to be tacky…

…don’t let it get too dry: that’s the best way to kill a plant…

…don’t let it get too dry: that’s the best way to kill a viewpoint…

…and hope that it flourishes…

…and hope that it flourishes.

My blog is my garden. Of the thoughts and ideas I’ve planted along the way, some have languished, some have only just survived, and a small few have blossomed, becoming colorful and fragrant.  You are welcome to take a walk through my garden anytime. I’d love your opinion on how my flowers are faring.
