Forest for the Trees

Do not convince yourself that you know the blueprint of the forest, just because you recognize that big old tree that is in front of your nose.

If there is one thing that history has taught us, it is that we do not know as much today as we will know tomorrow. In fact, I can guarantee that many of today’s “facts” will be giggled at by tomorrow’s children.

Each day we learn more about the complexity and magnitude of this existence; but we will never be able to understand, get our arms around, all of the intricacies….we’re just too close to the trees…and to be perfectly honest, we’re not as bright as we think we are…after all, we’re only human…
