We were walking through one of those women’s clothing stores that uses a different sizing system for their clothing….and I HAVE to admit, it is a bit confusing the first time you try to figure out what your size is in this store…
….anyway, in the center of the store, a customer stood questioning the salesperson regarding ‘her’ size. The salesperson explained, essentially, the store’s sizes of ‘one’ ‘two’ and ’three’ correlate to the standard sizes of ‘six’ ’10’ and ‘14’. The customer still looked a bit muddled. Her comment to the salesperson was, “So, you’re saying, a ‘three’ is a bigger ‘two’?!?”
…for some reason, that really tickled my funny-bone…

You are right! It is very confusing, but I like to think of size 1 and 2 as actually “smaller” than 8, 10, etc., Perhaps easier on the ego
….all a bit confusing if you ask me….
